position is part-time with varying number of work hours per week; in addition the position requires working 1 evening per week from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm

FAYS Family Support Specialist for Austin & Colorado Counties

Job Opportunity
Executive Director Position
Minimum of five (5) years administrative experience and at least three (3) years of social work experience in monitoring, evaluating, providing, &/or supervising direct services to youth & families.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
A working knowledge of health care and social service delivery systems with emphasis on child abuse and community based programs and working with youth & families. Knowledge of program financing, governmental relations, legislative processes, fund raising, community relations and program management is desirable.
Skills:
A high degree of skill should be evidenced in the following areas:
A. Ability to communicate effectively (both written & oral).
B. Ability to motivate subordinates by demonstrated leadership.
C. Ability to analyze and report diverse data.
D. Ability to effectively organize and complete objectives, tasks and work goals.
E. Ability to supervise and direct staff.
