related problems and to appropriate referrals and placement in

The purpose is to educate the client regarding chemical dependency
issues and support their achieving or maintaining abstinence. |

Referral and Placement
Counselors assist individuals and families in accessing the most
appropriate resources for their needs and aid them in the process of
entry and admission to services. |

24-Hour Telephone Services
An immediate response is provided to callers who are in crisis or in
need of access to a counselor. |

Follow-up
The purpose of a follow-up session is to determine if the client has
entered a program and adequate services and to provide feedback to
service providers. |
